Our Origins and Founder
SoShareIT is led and developed by its founder, Le Thanh Sang. As a graduate in Information Technology (with a focus on Programming Technology & Computer Science) from the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, Sang possesses a profound understanding of the core principles of algorithms and web applications.
On April 7, 2019, he made a strategic decision to acquire the SoShareIT.com domain. This domain has a unique history, having originally been a project initiated by the peer-to-peer sharing tech giant BitTorrent (Tuổi Trẻ News, GENK). He saw immense potential in the name itself: “So Share IT” – a perfect reflection of the mission he was determined to pursue.
Our Journey of Growth and Development
From an idea, SoShareIT has worked relentlessly to build trust and deliver real value to the community:
- A Solid Knowledge Foundation: To deepen the quality of our instructional content, in 2021, we acquired VietnameLIB.net – an established information library. This allowed us to enrich SoShareIT with a wealth of in-depth articles on networking, routers, Wi-Fi, and tips for both macOS and Windows.
- Recognized Achievements: Our commitment to creating useful products has been proven. In 2022, the “Special Characters” (Kí Tự Đặc Biệt) mobile app, developed by Sang and his associate, surpassed 100,000 downloads on the Google Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.soshareit.kitudacbiet&hl=vi), affirming the trust and adoption from our users.
- Global Expansion: From our Vietnamese foundation, we expanded into English, developing a suite of practical tools including a Nickname Generator, Fancy Text Generator, and various Calculators that serve thousands of international users daily.
